Cub Scout Pack 241: Glastonbury, CT
Welcome Families!
Pack 241 is located in Glastonbury, Connecticut and open to all children and families in grades K through 5 regardless of gender, race, color, or religion.
We are now a "merged" Glastonbury Pack that also encompasses the old Pack 356 and Pack 180.
Our aim is to provide the kids with a fun experience in a broad variety of activities, and help them grow to be better people through the goals of scouting as laid out in the Scout Law and Scout Oath.
Some Highlights
Our pack takes a relaxed approach. We meet once a month and there is no commitment on your part to those. Come to what works for your schedule.
The cost is about $200.00 for the entire year ! Most sports only give you a few weeks for that !
We have loads of fun activities throughout the year ! Rocket launching, camping, hiking, biking, field day, sleepovers, sporting events, pinewood derby and more!
Siblings welcome at all events and most activities!

Our den and Pack meetings are a combined meeting the THIRD Thursday of every month at 6:30 P.M. at one of the Glastonbury Public Schools.

Cub Scouts have some basic goals:
Cub Scouts is for all children and their FAMILIES! Family involvement is a part of the experience, for them to work together, play together, and get to know each other better.
Cub Scouts have FUN ! Scouts define fun as more than just a good time; they are challenged, engaged with others, learning new things, mastering skills and gaining self-confidence.
Cub Scouts have IDEALS such as the Scout Oath and Scout Law, which are positive values to live up to. We expect the scouts to know these.
Cub Scouts have ADVENTURE ! The kids will go hiking, camping, on field trips, participate in various activities and explore the world.
Cub Scouts have ADVANCEMENT in the den and pack, and earn badges by meeting the needs of the requirements set forth for each age group.
Cub Scouts BELONG together in the pack and target the same behavior by wearing uniforms and focusing on common goals.
Cub Scouts GO OUTSIDE !! We want to do our best to foster a love for the outdoors and choosing that over TV or electronics.
